There's a kind of interesting cause. and effect question going on there, right? Like, if you look at the eighteenth nineteenth centuries, the states that centralize are the ones that expand fastest. The one of the things that i think the centralized states are doing is they are psychologically constructing themselves to sider a larger domain to be normal. And then the other thing is yat, like, as you centralize, you actually gain enormous amounts of power. Ket the reason centralization gets done, the reason it happens, is because it is, in fact, more powerful.
