The History of Microsoft and Apple

Microsoft and Apple started from like a multiple slice in the SP 500. That is also a size thing. The only reason why they would exist and be in the S&P and all of that. In many ways, Microsoft isn't more important today than it was in 2000 or something. It's just that the part of the business that it's in is so big compared to what it was.
