What Is Transfer of Learning?

The point of education presumably is some kind of useful application, as I was saying earlier. That the person is changed in some sort of more general way which applies to more situations they encounter or more times in their life. One example given in the book is history, in particular, that learning from history is always transfer. The reason why it's difficult to do the transfer is because the situations are always different. There are so many different influences. It's highly complex. We have limited information or data. So there are a number of reasons why it's hard in the first place anyway. But history is a good example like that and Mathematics is also in a number of places in this book as
