The Importance of Having a College Degree in Pricing

Pricing is a big deal. I stink at it when it comes to consumer products. You do need experts involved that are not my skill set, but I'm really good at asking questions and I can point them to certain resources. One of the most profound things I've ever heard Ron say was there's nine colleges and universities that have a dedicated program for pricing. If our profession is so focused on CAS, why don't we go out and get people who are pricing specialists and bring them into the firm?
