The Cognitive Dissonance of Christianity
Conspiracy is core to the belief system of Christianity. Christians believe that Satan conspired with at least one third of the angels to fight against the most high God and the human race. They believe that Judas conspired, or I guess we believe, we believe that judas conspired with religious leaders in order to arrest Jesus at night. It's not this foreign idea that's on the fringe. It is a central core doctrine. Which makes me wonder why people who attest to the Christian faith seem to be so averse to the concept of conspiracy.
