Sixth Graders, I'm Just Like Holding Their Hand
I teach seventh and eighth grade. I feel like a lot of these things you wouldn't do with eighth graders, because eighth graders are almost fiercely independent. We're not doing it for them, buter, we're walking with them. It just goes to show how much these kids change in two years. They perceive it as being patronizing if you do elementary school stuff with them. And that's who they are. The experience of being with them is completely different.
