Cereal is becoming a prime example for an insidious packaging conspiracy called shrinkflation. Shrinkflation is where you're paying the same price for something but getting less of it because of the way it's packaged. The boxes are getting bigger to fill out more space in the coveted cereal aisle. But again, it comes in a bag inside that is half full of air and the actual net weight of the cereal in that box might be larger.
