The Why Factor

CHAPTER

Cremation in Britain - A Guide to Cremation

In 18 84, a father in britain attempted to burn his son's body on a hill. The church fought politically to keep it illegal by saying that if you did this, your actes couldn't be buried in a churchyard. Soit's a big struggle in the french republic whether it's actually legal or not. People have an abhorrence of the thought that their loved one is being burnt in flames and into ashes. Traditional burials remain the majority practised throughout in many african religions. Burial is not just an expression of respectful gratitude, it's a way to curry favour with a departing soul.
