Introduction
Buddha Gosa is perhaps the most important thinker in terra vada Buddhism after the Buddha himself. He wrote an extraordinarily wide corpus of works, commentary and otherwise creating much of how we understand terra vadas today. Maria Heim is one of the first to actually examine Buddha Gosa's work as a whole looking at that vast corpus of work. She focuses on themes of mind and intention and agency in a way that I think challenges many Western understandings of moral psychology.
