The Eucharist Is a Sacrificial Meal
When we receive the eucharist, we're partake f participating in that sacrificial meal. The church fathers always talk about the euchrist is unique because it acts differently with humanity than other natural foods do. And so when we receive communion, we are assimilated to christ. That is supposed to be recognized by those that we encounter. It's not just this individual am, you know, individual with god relationship type of thing. But it has this kind of fragrance to it.
