Is There a Limitation to Loop Quantum Gravity?

loop quantum gravity is an alternative to string theory. But it doesn't actually unify all the forces like electromagnetism, why do we have the weak force? It's not clear necessarily, how you would get there. Its not ruled out but so far, the scope of loop quantum gravity is not to describe all of it.
