Do Democracies Really Solve Climate Change?
Do you think democracies are well suited to addressing a problem that is as global? I mean, democracies of their nature tend to be national. Climate change of its nature tends to be global. Democracy can often be a short-term thing. And we are lucky enough to have a climate change act which was backed by all political parties. Only eight people voted against it. It's most remarkable at a particular moment in time.
