I love how you talked about the different roles for the thinking brain and the amygdala. I was just talking to a client today who has eight-year-old who was getting really, really upset and frustrated when he was trying to do something. The amygdala is going, oh my gosh, bud, this is something really important. And so that missing something up, missing out on something important, their body is being fueled to get ready to run. If there's no opportunity to leave it, to walk away, but if there's no, it's like the brain can't tell if he's making pancakes or fighting a bear, the brain can’t tell.
