The Future of Labor Organizations

I think we're going to be seeing a lot more labor organizing happening even in industries that haven't traditionally had unions or industries that are so new it doesn't really make sense to talk about unions. I think the gig economy is like going to be a very important sector of this sort of thing just because you know you have these workers who for so long have been given so little control over their wages and conditions but now they're being told that they're essential. They're still not given the kind of safety protections or control that they really deserve. It's just the definition of the left to always be marginal and at a disadvantage and trying to do something that's basically impossible. But yeah,
