NHTSA's Nominating Gigi Sohn

The White House pulled Ann Carlson's nomination to head the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The nominee had called for banning every internal combustion engine in America and forcing all cars to be electric. Grassley says he led the fight to defeat her, as with Gigi Sohn and Phil Washington.
