How Do You Deal With Critics?

In the heights was immensely successful and popular. It also got criticisms, particularly rum the black community. How did you deal with that criticism? Ah, i know how it feels to feel unseen. And so when you hear someones speaking out about that, you shut the hell up and you listen. Like we're all on the same side. I make it like we're fighting against each other because that benefits the bigger idea of just not having to deal with all this stuff.
