The 613 Commandments Are God's Will for Ancient Israel
A year into playing an instrument, do you spend three hours just playing your scales anymore? Of course not. Why? Because you have fulfilled the purpose of playing your scales. And it's that balance that Jesus is trying to strike right here. The 613 commands were God's will for ancient Israel and they are good. But that to which they pointed is now fulfilled. Now we're going to begin to speak the language of the kingdom and play the music of the kingdom with our lives as we become the Jeremiah 31 people together.
