It was, I'm sure, stored somewhere for a very long time and wasn't even available in German until the 70s. So when Altusseir probably read this, he might have read it in German because I don't think there was a French translation of this text. It would have been available in German in the 1970s. But when it was available in the collected works, it's like, you know, Volume 1 of the collected works of Parks and Ingalls writing is like $200.So available technically, yes, but not exactly very widely available.
