The Difference Between Public Policy and Population Ethics
There are many times when our moral intuitions do need to be changed. But that's not the same as saying I seek a perfect moral framework That can answer all problems between now and the end of time. The difference between public policy and population ethics is Is you're constrained by the actual policies that you're considering. It's very specific to the problem at hand and also in public policy You can also always come up with new options. Whereas like the population ethics is very sort of game theoretic in nature where like you have a set of options in front of you And that's all you're allowed to do Because you've abstracted yourself into this mathematical world.
