Si: Action research is designed to get a result. Report writing has another set of elements to it, and that is finding ways in which the people who were engaged in the research helped to develop the reports. I've talked of taking uneducated avoriginal ple to national conferences where they can give presentations about their work. And i've got to say, watching the breakfast ladies give a presentation to a national audience was very powerful. This is part of the action research where we build the capacity of the people to do the work that academics used to do.
