Baptism does for us exactly what jesus says, does when he speaks to nicodemus in john chapter three. We are plunged into christ, which means that we are put back in relationship with the father and the holy spirit. And this fulness is now revealed to us on the day of pentecost with the gift of the holy spirit now dwelling within us.
