The Legacy of Film

There's a lot of in tech stuff where it's like, we've always done it this way. But the industry standard is whatever. And I totally get why that person needs to exist in a world where it's recorded on film,. You take a shot and have a couple reels of film. If the film gets, I don't even know how delicate it is, but touched, scratched, exposed to too much light... It's gone forever. There's no digital backup. Like, it's gone gone.
