The Hope of the Resurrection

The only appropriate phrase to describe its effect on a human, the hope of the resurrection, is that you have been born another time. Peter definitely didn't come up with that metaphor on his own. He's the one responsible for this image. For Peter, the empty tomb and Easter morning means a dynamic, life-transforming, world-altering hope. And it has the capacity to utterly transform a human being.
