The History of Lobotomies

Insulin coma therapy is no longer used. lobotomies were still being done in the 1970s. A doctor once suggested to my parents that they have a lobotomy performed on me when I was in first or second grade. This could leave you in a passive zombie-like state where you couldn't take care of yourself, and it is no longer done.
