I've Never Been Pregnant, You Said.

You were 20 years old like me, but i thought you sounded more grown up. Your hair was longish, but still shorter than mine. You spoke in short sentences, with long pauses between each word. Some paintings by paul clar a the met were the best. They inspired happiness in me. I told you about my trip to new York and though i was trying to come off as casual and worldly, i'm sure i sounded pretty arrogant. But jask came off as sad because his effort was so obvious. We went into the mattoy bookstore. It wasn't just that i liked them. They also made me feel taller even though they aren't.
