The potential for abuse, I think, is really quite low. And in part because you can always quit your job. The ability for Government workers to have access to government officials is so much greater than a factory worker at a car plant or whatever. Just this idea that somehow Elected officials should be. the servants, not of the people, but of the various state local and federal bureaucracies Is insane.
