I think that it's not talked about a lot of these eras of like say Adam from Tool or Tom Morello or you. It seems to stop after Ingve you know you go like Hendrix Eddie Van Halen Randy Rhodes Ingve Sweet Picking Era Steve Vine stuff and then nobody talks about these other atmospheric style guitar players being like Adam from Tool Or Tom Morello. First time I saw Tom Morello I was like well what is he playing? He just pulled the the cable out and he's rubbing it on the strings and pretty, which really blows my mind.
