What Did Sam Motes Show You?

My father had another episode where he seemed to get a little better, only to suddenly get worse again. He was finally taken off life support and given about 72 hours to live. Sam Motes brought over a bunch of documents in a shoebox. There were very old diaries from the turn of the century most of them falling apart. Four of the diaries rehearsed and two belonged to another servant who lived and worked in house down the road. They were a pretty interesting depiction of everyday life in the years 1895 to about 1901.
