The Legend of Skin Walkers

The legend of skin walkers falls into the folklore area where you've got native american groups who believe that there is this thing called a skin walker. In navajo folklore, for instance, which is where this pops up most often, or at least in the modern west, this is most strongly associated with navajo. The idea here is similar to some european folk lore regarding lycanthropes. As sometimes, in different periods of the past, people who were thought of as werewolves were also thought of as witches.
