Pat: It's not just, oh, idon't have to feel guilty any more. It's actually just acknowledging it and growing in that area. Our geniuses are about the areas that we're good at, almost unintentionally. Pat: When we'd naturally do things in our areas, we shouldn't apologize for them. But we should make it ok for somebody to go, ha, pat, i got some other stuff i have to do so let's do this later.
We all tell ourselves that we should be better at certain aspects of our work or in certain areas of our life. However, if we aren't naturally inclined to enjoy and thrive within those areas, to 'should' on ourselves is a recipe for unnecessary guilt and shame.
