Anonymous asked for a ransom saying they're expecting 30,000 US dollars to be wired to them via Bitcoin within the next 24 hours. They said if they get the Bitcoin, they'll stop all DDOS attacks immediately and never attack the site again. AO3 is a part of some people's daily routines, but they also make it clear that they are anti-LGBTQ plus and they're against explicit content. So this kind of ends up becoming about suppression and censorship.
