The Regicide of the King

Milton was the first person of any standing to defend the regicide in print. The new republic was instantly vilified throughout Europe and a book supposedly written by the King King himself dominated the public space. Milton wrote pamphlets or tracks or whatever we want to call them, basically making fun of it.
