The Invisible Missions of the Most Blessed Trinity
In the Latin formula, it says a foodit, right? So, you can think of the word, well, the Latin past participle is effusus or effusion. And these Trinitarian precessions are the pattern of the Trinitarian missions. The Son is sent into the world in the incarnation visibly, and the Holy Spirit is sent to us as the gift of sanctification. We are meant ultimately to play host to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the sending of the Spirit.
