When Dangerous Roads Are Safer
Hans monderman was the most famous traffic engineer in the world. He basely throug out the entire accepted orthodoxy of traffic engineering. i atankel dropped into a conventional fourway intersection with signal signals. The behaviour changed remarkably. You saw people, again, round about. You have to slow it to enter it. So you're already getting that kind of safety benefit. But there's lots of interesting stuff in europe. And since roundabouts are now coming here, and they're already safer, you know, we might sort of moved more in that direction.
