Jokes do not always translate well into other languages and other cultures. Different cultures have different senses of humor, so what we find funny in the UK might be like, what? Why is that funny? You know, British people are known for being very sarcastic,. And it's something I've had to try to control in my private lessons with students. So perhaps we're going to be looking at some jokes today, but you might not get them because it maybe doesn't translate into your culture.
