In psychotherapy we don't really make that much use of personality tests. We do use some tests like Schema and questionnaires but they're not necessarily reliable as a form of classification. The most robust thing we have at the moment is knowing whether you're an introvert or an extrovert That may give you some help in but it's not enough information to define your whole philosophy of lifeYeah so I guess the thing I'd say a bit personality test is that they're not quite as reliable as is sometimes people might be led to believe.
In this episode, I chat with J.W. Bertolotti host of the In Search of Wisdom podcast, and founder of the Perennial Leader Project. Josh was one of the speakers at our Stoicon-x Military event a few years ago. We’re both very active on Substack now, Josh at Perennial Meditations so I thought it would be a great opportunity to reconnect and chat about philosophy as a guide to life.
