How to Be an Organizational Savvy Leader
"Sophisticated" is the term used to describe faculty members' ability to navigate organizational power and politics. "Organizational savvy" means being able to recognize significance of events in one's institution, how these fit with a larger institution. Faculty often have no idea they're competing priorities when it comes to their work or experience.
