The Problem With Stablecoin Legislation

Stablecoin legislation in the US is going to be a huge step forward. If we had the fed issue a cbdc that would I mean like in a certain sense if you want me to put on my tin foil hat right Saying security saying stablecoins are securities and enforcing that as a law is actually a step towards a cBDc Right because at that point what you're really doing is you're sort of clearing the competition For the fed to issue a stableCoin Because the fed can do it without registration with the scc And so it's actually sort of better from the perspective of issuing a cbdC to have stable points treated as securitiesI didn't even think about that.
