The False Cause Fallacy

The post-hoc ergo-proctor-hoc fallacy is also known as the Texas marksman fallacy or the false cause fallacy. It gets this idea from a gun slinger shooting a wall a hundred times and then painting a bullseye around a cluster of bullets. But it kind of goes to show that there are kind of patterns or correlations that exist in life. However, even if these patterns do exist, that doesn't prove that Joseph Smith used those texts to fabricate the Book of Mormon.
