How Many Books of Poetry Have You Written?

With a novelist, i can say, how many novels have you written? And they've written four, r six or 25. But with a poet, how do you count? Do you count how many poems you've written, or how many books? Or because some of your books of poetry are collections of poems that have been published elsewhere, or not published,. How do you add up all thisi have selected poems that had a lot of previously unpublished poems in it.
