How to Be a Firefighter
In order to be fired, you're going to have a 25 year window of investing before retirement. We assume that at the beginning of this window, your rate of return starts at 8% per year and it decreases each year until you get a terminal rate of 5 and a half percent at financial independence. And then based on the different savings rates, we want to see how much of your immediately pre retirement income you'll be able to replace.
