I don't think we have that depth of understanding about most of our adversaries for whatever reason. A lot of distractions out there obviously today these bureaucracies being so big that you just get lost if you are that person that actually does understand the enemy you're not in a position to really affect change. The military liaison mission was also a mechanism and I use in this book the MLM specifically pot-stand house which was the Americans bastion in East Germany during the able archer crisis. Yvonne Lechenko and Katani both in the same room but they did have those mechanisms too.
