The Rise of Carthage
The Rise of Carthage is a look at the rise and fall of one of ancient Greece's most powerful empires. The Phoenicians from Tyre established numerous colonial cities along the central and western Mediterranean coasts in order to provide safe harbors for their merchant fleets. They became heavily involved in the trading network with the Etruscan kingdoms of central Italy, across the Terenians Sea. This episode will be primarily geared towards what set Carthage apart from the rest of the Phoenicians.
