Is There a Need for 500 Different Teaching Ideas?
When it's time to actually plan during the school year, when you have limited time and energy, you do not want to see everything. The beauty of the system that you're describing here as we already know how many days we have. When you know how much time you have to teach something, then you're looking for very specific things instead of just trying to collect all the ideas. Another thing i focus on at this step is where i do a lot of my planning for differentiation u. And i really try to take a universal, design for learning approach to that.
