I do not at all dispute that it is a node in the struggle. I i'm concerned though, that we've been having the conversation about rebuilding the labor movement since the 19 nineties. The social base of organized labor is now, and probably will remain, a sectoral one. And so the challenge is really going to be, how do we assemble some kind of larger political force?
