Children's stories and fairy tales especially are so very important for shaping moral imagination. I think because of the concreteness, I would say fairy tales are the most concrete of stories available to children. The inspiration they get is from the characters who struggle with good and evil and are victorious in the end. So it's the characters that I focus on in the book - although I obviously give you some idea of the narrative.
