The Importance of Introspection in Writing
I think there was an interesting parallel or kind of underlying truth that you touched on in a very different space in your essay I'm looking for Alice which is about relationships and kind of finding your partner in life. You had this incredible line where you said show the inside of your head in public so people can see if they would like to live in it. Good writers are really good at doing that because they can sort of look at themselves and can see like I'm trying to protect myself here let's not do it and I're trying to do this and people and that's much more useful than how someone else thinks actually. It takes a lot of work but it's meaningful deep work
