Section two of the fourteenth amendment allows congress to reduce the states delegation and the house of representatives if the state abridges the right to vote. It is a really clonky and uncomfortablevigen but it has so much i import right? To me, it says about the society that congressional republicans were trying to create in 18 66 after they end of the civil war. Why didn't it say something powerful about what that society should look like and how important voting it had become? I'm too sort of securing freedom.
