The Death of Alfredo Stressner in Paraguay

Alfredo stressner was president of Paraguay from 1973 to 1989. He is considered one of the most repressive dictators in modern history. A former US soldier who traveled to Paraguay for work during his time there says he spoke with him once and said, "I am a benevolent dictator" The remark has never been commented on by U.S. officials.
