What Is the Definition of Freedom?
The first art ists to ever use skull imagery were monks. They would put that skull in their monastic cell at their prayer bench, and they would pray with it in front of them. These practices are how we deepen our surrender to jesus. And if you look at old monastic drawings, you'll notice something really creepy. Every day he will walk past the graveyard where his body will decompose every day by the chapel. He's been a guest master there for forty years but plans on becoming one himself.
